My Thoughts:

-    I have wanted to read a Debbie Tung book for SO long, but I have had a hard time finding a physical copy. I finally decided to just get this book on Libby and read it off my phone. I'm so glad I did!

-    Book Love is a series of comics strips dedicated to readers and all things books. I laughed so hard at a lot of the pages, and some of them really spoke to my soul. This is a must read for bookish people.

-    This book made me feel so seen. It is good to know I have something in common with so many people.

-    I wanted to share one of my favorites:

Adulthood Is a Myth

25855506From Goodreads:    Are you a special snowflake?

Do you enjoy networking to advance your career?

Is adulthood an exciting new challenge for which you feel fully prepared?

Ugh. Please go away.

This book is for the rest of us. These comic document the wasting of entire beautiful weekends on the internet, the unbearable agony of holding hands on the street with a gorgeous guy, dreaming all day of getting home and back into pajamas, and wondering when, exactly, this adulthood thing begins. In other words, the horrors and awkwardnesses of young modern life.

My Thoughts:

-    This book was HILARIOUS!!! It nailed so many things! From clothes, to books, to dealing with people, this book was SO me!

-    I laughed at so many pages that my husband read this as well, and he thought it was really funny. He also saw me in most of the pages.

-    The artwork just adds to the humor. The girl is so weird looking, and he eyes are so funny. They get really buggy..

-    This is a must read for any book lover and introvert.

My Thoughts:

-    OMG! This was HILARIOUS! I hope there is more.

-    I loved how over dramatic all the characters were. All their personalities were magnified, and it cracked me up!

-    I loved the supernatural twist on Downton. It was awesome!

-    The illustrations really captured the characters and everything!

-    The Dowager Countess's stare was so funny! I laughed every time.

-    The play on names and situations were so great!

-    I just can't say enough about this book!

-    This is a MUST read for Downton Abbey fans!!

-    I hope there will be more of these!
