Wonder Woman

My Thoughts:

-    This movie was alright. I enjoyed it overall.

-    The cast was great. I loved Robin Wright, Gal Gadot, and Connie Nielson. Chris Pine did a good job as well, although I didn't appreciate his naked scene. I also loved David Thewlis. It was fairly obvious who he was, but he pulled it off well, especially for his age.

-    I loved all the action/fighting scenes. I am a sucker for great hero shots. I loved when Diana was crossing the battle field.

-    My biggest complaint was I felt like the whole movie was the first Captain America movie but with Wonder Woman. The story and scenes were very reminiscent of Captain America. I feel like this movie was kind of a rip off.

-    I am happy that DC is stepping up their game, but I feel like they are trying to catch up with Marvel in the movie industry. Justice League better deliver.

Into the Woods

My Thoughts:

-    This was a good adaptation of the play. I enjoyed it.

-    I usually only watch the first half of the play. Everything ends nice, and all the good songs are done. Plus the whole play is super long. I was glad they shortened the last half. They cut out quite a bit.

-    The cast did amazing! Everyone was perfect for their role. I didn't know Chris Pine and Emily Blunt could sing. Red Riding Hood is my favorite.

-    I laughed a lot. The humor seemed magnified in this movie. It was great.

-    I kinda wished they'd cast Bernadette Peters as the witch, but Meryl Streep did good.

-    Loved Johnny Depp as the wolf!

-    The music was great, the scenery was great, I'd recommend seeing it.

Rise of the Guardians

My Thoughts:

-    I've seen a lot of people cosplay as Jack Frost, and if it is big in the geek world, I gotta check it out!

-    I loved how the creators remade classic childhood icons. Santa is Russian, The Easter Bunny is Australian, and I loved the Sandman and the Tooth Fairy. Each character was so fun!

-    If the Lorax and a Wookie had children, they'd be Santa's yetis.

-    Jack Frost was a fun character. I figured out "his center" pretty quick, so I don't understand why it took him so long.

-    The villain was awesome! Jude Law did an amazing job with that character.

-    All the voice actors did great! My favorite was Hugh Jackman as the Easter Bunny. It was fun to hear his original accent.

-    The homes of each guardian was amazing. They were so unique, different, and creative.

-    Some of the scenes were really beautiful. The CG was really well done.

-    This was a really cute movie, and it has something for everyone.
