Top Ten Graphic Novels

Today is a genre freebie, and I know a lot of people who shy away from graphic novels. I wanted to share some of my favorites, so if you don't know where to start, these are my recommendations.

  1. I've read a handful of graphic novels -- Cory Doctorow's "IRL", a Firefly story, and "V for Vendetta". I appreciate the art but am often distracted by it!

    1. I don't think I've read any of those. I love the artwork in most graphic novels.

  2. I'm so glad you did this list! I absolutely loved Book Love, but I don't read a lot of graphic novels and never know where to find a good one. I love the look of Amulet; and both American Born Chinese and When Stars are Scattered are definitely going on my TBR list. :D

  3. Book Love is one of my favorites! I didn't realize Anne of Green Gables had one...is it true to the story?! Thanks for sharing!

    1. It is the original work set to pictures. I think they used the original text and everything. It was a fun way to experience the story.

    1. Smile is for a younger audience, but I really enjoyed it.

  6. I like seeing more bloggers talked about graphic novels. I read American Born Chinese as assign reading in high school. It was really good.
