The Bourne Legacy

My Thoughts:

-    Yes! I only watched this because Renner is my new celebrity crush. I was not disappointed. There were lots of great Renner moments to ooh and aah and enjoy.

-    The whole story is a little confusing. I feel like the movie expected the audience to know a lot of things before watching this. It was like the middle of a story.

-    The monkey cam was annoying!

-    The action was awesome! Loved all the fighting and chasing and running across roof tops. There were some intense scenes that had me clutching the blanket on my lap.

-    While Renner is the main attraction of this film, the rest of the cast was good as well. I especially liked the leading lady. I felt scared and sorry for her.

-    The ending was really abrupt. Is there going to be another one? Were the characters safe in the end?

-   Despite the setbacks, there was a lot to admire in this movie. It is my favorite in the Bourne series. ;)

Gravity

My Thoughts:

-    Wow! I can see why this won so many awards.

-    I'm glad I FINALLY saw this on the big screen! Hooray!

-    It was intense from beginning to end. I held my breath, I clenched my fists, and I was just so nervous the whole movie.

-    I'm kind of a wimp, and I didn't like seeing the nasty dead guy at the beginning, but other than that, I really enjoyed the movie.

-    I loved the sound and lack of sound. It was so real, and made me feel like I was right there with Sandra Bullock in space.

-    I LOVED Sandra Bullock's performance! She is one of my favorites! Dang she is fit and toned!

-    Clooney wasn't too bad.

-    The special effects were awesome! I don't even know how they did it!

-    I really wanted more at the end. I wanted to see her being rescued!

-    The story is about survival. It has some quiet parts and really intense parts. I really like that there wasn't much to the story, and everything was sequential. The movie happened in real time, almost. I liked that.

-    My favorite line was "I hate space!"

The Island

My Thoughts:

-    I wish the doctor's offices had a toilet that checked pee.  Then I wouldn't have to mess with the cup.

-    McGregor needs that mole on his forehead removed.

-    That facility's security sucks!!  It is supposed to be super advanced right?  WRONG!

-    There were moments that reminded me of Dollhouse

-    MSN Search in 2019?  Ya right!!  ha ha ha!!

-    There were some queasy moments where I shielded my eyes.

-    After falling off the big red "R" (which looks likes the Team Rocket building), they'd be dead.

-    The action scenes were great!  I loved the train wheel scene.  That was awesome!!

-    It was a really good flick overall.  I really liked the message it sent.

Tyson's Thought:

-    Scarlett Johansson has some smooth skin.

Hubby's Thought:

-    This movie should have taken play further in the future.
