Top Ten Books with Apples On the Cover
I wasn't sure what I wanted to highlight this week, but for some reason apples kept popping up in my mind, so that is what I went with.
I like how the apples seem to be red or black. Of course I'll assume the black apples are like black hearts, for danger or death. Garden Spells is the prettiest cover but The Shadow Queen is the most intense.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I didn't even notice there were only red and black apples. I'm sure there is a green apple on a cover somewhere.
DeleteWow, who knew there were so many book covers with apples on them? Interesting! It makes sense since they're brightly covered and come with a lot of symbolism, but still...I never noticed there were so many out there!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!

I know! Me either until this prompt.
DeleteApples are so simple, yet eye catching on covers.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI love this! You wouldn't think there would be so many! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteRight!? I wasn't sure if I could find 10, but there are a lot.
DeleteWhat a clever idea for this week's TTT! I love it. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark!
DeleteThere are a lot of apples on covers, I've noticed. It's like it's the forbidden fruit or something. Or, it might just have to do with Snow White. I mean you have at least three books that have to do with Snow White on your list. I don't know if Shadow Queen is a SW retelling. Out of all the covers you chose, I think Liane Moriarty's is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYa, I was worried that I was going to have just Snow White books, but I'm glad I found more than that. I haven't read Shadow Queen yet.
DeleteGood one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Suey!
DeleteI love that cross-stitch apple on Stitching Snow, so cute!

It is really cool. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI'm so behind on Liane Moriarty's books!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea. I might copy this one day for a freebie. Unless Jana picks it as our topic.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT this week has books with maps on the cover.
Who would have thought there would be so many covers with apples--and all so creatively displayed! I guess it really should be a surprise, how symbolic the apple is, but I still am surprised. Thank you for sharing!
