My Thoughts:
- This is my new favorite book in the series. I love that Ivy and Bean's shenanigans get better and better with each book.
- Both Gnome and I were able to relate to Ivy and Bean feeling left out when all the kids around them had the latest fad and they didn't. I also love that the fad was the wax off of cheese.
- Ivy and Bean's idea to create a newspaper was so much fun. After reading this, Gnome wanted to start a newspaper with her friend.
- The story is relatable, funny, and highly entertaining.

- Here we go again! Another adventure with Ivy and Bean. It was fun.
- Gnome and I were pretty entertained with this one. We both laughed a few times.
- I loved that this one tackled a hot topic. It was funny to see what the kids came up with to combat global warming. I also liked seeing the concern the kids had for our planet.
- I'm glad we kept reading these. They are fun.

- This book was pretty funny. I love that Ivy and Bean wanted to take ballet because they read about a gruesome scene from a ballet. Ha!
- It was funny to read about Ivy and Bean trying to get locked in the aquarium too. They have some fun shenanigans.
- I can't believe Gnome and I are still reading these. I think I need a break though.

- When I was little, I wanted animals to be my friends just like in Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Sadly, I could never get a bird to land on my finger. I think it is hilarious that Ivy and Bean try to get animals to flock to them by being extra good.
- I love when Bean decides she wants to be bad instead of good. She does some funny things.
- Can you believe Gnome and I have read 5 of these!? The series really grows on you.
- Gnome and I both enjoyed this. I think Gnome enjoys these more than me, but I think they are cute and true to life.

- This was fun. I'm glad these books have grown on me.
- My inner child would love to be friends with Ivy and Bean. Turning a giant pile of dirt into a volcano sounds like so much fun. Exploring an attic and making a secret lair also sounds awesome.
- My adult/parent side thinks that Bean is a pain. What is she thinking half the time? Ivy seems like a good kid most of the time, but Bean would be a hard kid.
- All of me thinks Nancy is jerk though. I'm glad Bean stands up to her.
- Gnome really liked this one.

- These seem to be getting better with each book. I enjoyed this one more than the previous two.
- I liked how Bean and Ivy's class got into world records. I remember a phase like that in elementary school. We looked through the world records book and oohed and aahed, and we were sometimes grossed out.
- I also love that Ivy and Bean went digging for dinosaur bones. What kid hasn't done that?
- I related a lot more to this book. It spoke my younger self, and Gnome really liked it too.
- Ivy and Bean are Gnome's age, and it is fun reading about girls the same age as her.

- Yes, we read another one of these. Gnome really liked it. She said she liked everything about this book.
- It was fun to read about girls in the same grade as Gnome. The characters are cute.
- I liked this one better than the first one, not by much, but I thought this one had a better story.
- The whole ghost thing reminded me of making up things with my friends. We used our imaginations and created fun places and situations too.
- Overall, these are pretty cute and quick reads for kids.

- I probably wouldn't continue the series, but Gnome wants to read more.
