Fangirl

My Thoughts:

-    I really liked that the book was set in college with college aged people.

-    I laughed that Simon Snow is pretty much Harry Potter. The author really captured the craze and fandom. I love that Cath writes fanfiction! So awesome! I geeked out a little bit.

-    Cather is a weird name. It kinda leads the mind to something else.

-    They say that a person who sees romantic relationships in everything has never had a true friendship. I can really see that in Cath.

-    There was a lot of heavy language in the book, definitely for older teens or adults.

-    I loved Levi! He was like a modern day Gilbert Blythe. I loved him.

-    I really like how Cath and Levi's relationship grew. They started out as friends, and it somehow blossomed into something else. I loved that!

-    I also liked Cath's relationship with the other characters, and there were some complicated ones. Wren and the dad were supports for Cath, but they were also not stable. Reagan was my favorite! She was fun and hilarious.

-    I liked that Cath and Wren dealt with things in different ways, and it the book showed the consequences of their actions. Wren was on a path of destruction, and Cath needed to come out of her shell.

-    Overall, this was a wonderful and fun book. I should have read this sooner.

  1. Yay! I'm so happy you liked this. I think it's one of my all time favorite contemporaries. :) When I saw you were reviewing this I was worried you wouldn't like it because of the language (which is pretty bad). But it's such a fun story.

    1. If the language hadn't been there, I would have 5 starred this.

  2. I need to read this one. I wonder if the fan fiction stuff well bother me.
