My Thoughts:
- I didn't know anything about this movie except that it won an Oscar. I didn't see very much advertising for it. I finally saw it, and I loved it!
- I like how this movie is a cross between Stargate SG-1 and the Marvel Universe. It had replicators and the stargate, but it also had awesome gadgets and an origin story.
- I loved all the Stitch easter eggs. They were fun to see. Yes! I caught Stan Lee's picture as soon as it showed it. I was thrilled! It really completed that Marvel super hero movie feel for me.
- I loved all the characters, especially Baymax. Even though he is a robot, he had a lot of great moments and a lot of personality. Fist bumps have changed for me!
- Go Go is me! I've had that haircut. I haven't done the purple stripe (yet), but I've had that haircut, and she looks like me! Plus the lady that does her voice is Korean.
- I loved the use of real tech. The creators really did their research and based all the cool tech in the movie on real tech.
- The short at the beginning is SO CUTE!!! I love that dog! I love how the love story was told from the dog's perspective and his love for food. Great short feature!
- This movie is very heart warming and very clean. It is a great family movie that anyone can watch and enjoy.
It's weird that this one was so under the radar. I know virtually nothing about it. I guess one day I'll have to see it.
ReplyDeleteThis one is definitely on my to-watch list. I think my son would love it, too.
ReplyDeleteI did love it. It was cute and it was very fun. I love Baymax as well. And the fist bumps are awesome.
ReplyDeleteMy nephew was telling me about this movie just yesterday and he says I simply have to see it soon. It definitely sounds like fun! :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids and I loved this movie as well. It was so cute and I loved the super hero aspect of it. The world was cool too! It was like Tokyo + San Francisco and I couldn’t tell if it was supposed to be in the future or an alternate world. My kids now go “blah la la la la” whenever they do fist bumps now :)
